Dickerson Park Zoo's elephants had a little fun with gigantic pumpkins today. One pumpkin - weighing in at more than 300 pounds - was met with great excitement by "Patience."
"Pinky" corralled the 200-plus pound pumpkin and mashed it in very short order.
Not to be outdone by his pachyderm friends, "Henry" the hippopotamus, chomped a pumpkin, too!

Hello Dickerson Park Zoo!
I'm writing to let you know that because you're one of our Conservation Parking Meter partners, I've added you to our blogroll at http://savenatureDOTorg.blogspot.com. The blog includes topics about rainforests, coral reefs, arthropods, and eco-related articles. I hope that you will add us to your list as well.
Thank you for being our partner for so many years. Keep up the great work!
Best wishes,
